Review: The Distance Between Us

The Distance Between Us The Distance Between Us by Kasie West
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

So I kind of have a love/hate relationship with all Kasie West books.. well at least the 4 that I have read. The characters are all great. The story is usually pretty funny and light. The problem I have with these books is that I feel like it's only half a story. I feel like it isn't finished. There are so many un answered questions. This book left off with her mom in the hospital (granted we were told she would be fine), We don't know whats going to happen with the doll store, we don't know how their relationship is going to go because they literally figured things out in the last damn chapter. What happened with that Robert dude? What school is she going to go to? There is just too much at the end that is left open ended. I remember thinking the same thing when I finished By Your Side.

I still enjoyed listening to this book though. I still LOVED Caymen. She was so sarcastic and funny. I just think there should have been a little bit more.
