Until Friday Night by Abbi Glines
Originally read September 8, 2015
I listened to the audiobook at work. The narrator Sebastian York and Olivia Song were both amazing
The story on the other hand.. meeehh... I think that it had a lot of potential. I do not think that it was all it could have been. My big issue with the book was West. I hated him. I know he had a bunch of things going on but so did Maggie. And i'm sorry but Maggie's problems were way, way worse than his and she didn't turn into a huge d-bag. Yes, West ended up being a sweetie pie and good for him but still. I think it took him too long to get there.
I will say that I loved that Maggie didn't speak.. I know that sounds horrible but it was just something different. I liked that she talked to West when he needed a little help. I think that was a super sweet touch to the story. It made the love story different.. but it also made me hate West just a little bit more. She hasn't spoken in so long and she speaks to him when he needed someone an he was still a dick.
It was short. It was sweet but really there wasn't much else to it. I will read the next book in the series because Abbi Glines is one of my all time favorite authors. But this book was one of my least favorite of her books.
