Review: Moon Severed

Moon Severed Moon Severed by Jennifer Snyder
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I totally love this series. Eli is absolute perfection. I mean he's full of himself but that's okay. He was amazing in this book! I was never 100% on board with him. Just because half the time I wanted to punch him for being way too cocky but he's completely swoon worthy in this one.

So that being said.. this book was by far my favorite of the series. Not only is Eli finally a fantastic book boyfriend but we finally find out a lot of secrets! I can't wait for the next one!!

Review: Charcoal Tears

Charcoal Tears Charcoal Tears by Jane Washington
My rating: 1 of 5 stars

I have a lot of thoughts on this book and I really can't think of how to put them all out on paper. I kind of feel like thats what happened to the author. She had too much going on and she forgot to explain things. The writing jumped around so much. I was so confused the whole book and even now that I have finished it I'm still confused. I have absolutely no clue what happened in this book. I know that there is a girl who is supposedly is shy but then she meets 2 guys and becomes a social butterfly and she's kind of mean... she wants to fight everyone. Idk. I came from reading the Academy books and Sang was shy and she remained shy and slowly opened up to the guys. But Seph automatically opened up to everyone. She was telling secrets to people she just met. I hated that the guys were man whores. I hated that Seph just laughed about it. I hated that everything was so secretive. I just really didn't like the book. But heres the thing... i need to know who the stalker is.

Review: Triton's Curse

Triton's Curse Triton's Curse by Sarra Cannon
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Sigh. Nik was everything. He was the sweetest guy. Eva wasn't my favorite. But Nik.. Im totally in love with him. I haven't read anything by this author but I really liked her writing style.

I am a little sad that I am done visiting Willow Harbor. This was an all around great series. The books are a little shorter than what I'm use to reading so it was nice. They were short and sweet. With men that I fell in love with and female characters I wanted to be best friends with.

Review: Hunter's Revenge

Hunter's Revenge Hunter's Revenge by Juliana Haygert
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Again.. I want to live in Willow Harbor. This one was a bit slower than the first 2 in the series but still a fantastic read. Tessa is my girl. I love the heck out of her. Im going to be real with you guys.. Landon didn't do anything for me. But that's ok! It didn't take away from the story. Tessa was such a strong character that she kind of out shined Landon. At least for me.

I have never read anything by this author and I was not disappointed. Even with the book starting out slow, I read this in one sitting!

Review: Vampire's Descent

Vampire's Descent Vampire's Descent by Jennifer Snyder
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Loved this book!! This book can be read as a stand alone but I personally like to read things in order.. so go read the first book in the series!! Seriously.. I want to live in Willow Harbor.

Mason was fantastic. I am completely in love with him. He's kind of moody and sweet and thats just my favorite type of hero! I loved how protective he was of Claire.

It was just an all around sweet story. I loved the connection between Mason and Claire.

Review: The Scot Beds His Wife

The Scot Beds His Wife The Scot Beds His Wife by Kerrigan Byrne
My rating: 1 of 5 stars

I started and stopped this book multiple times. I do not like stories where the plot line has a "big secret". Sam lying about her identity from the start put me off of this book (and later on there is another lie/secret that made me absolutely hate Sam). I had a really hard time getting into it and honestly I never really got into it. I forced myself to finish just so I could write a review for NetGalley. I just kept waiting for her to finally own up to her lies and tell Gavin the truth but it just never happened.. I mean it did eventually but it was at like 90% into the book. So I just wanted to scream the whole time.

I have enjoyed this series for the most part and I think this one was just not for me because I didn't like the subject matter. So I will be reading the next book in the series and hope that it's much better than this one.

Review: Third Son's a Charm

Third Son's a Charm Third Son's a Charm by Shana Galen
My rating: 2 of 5 stars

Honestly.. Kind of boring. I was excited because Ewan was a big brute of a man. He was a soldier and he didn't speak. That's one of my favorite HR heroes! And I did like Ewan for the most part but lord Lorraine was a flipping idiot. I mean she was seriously TSTL. I don't understand how she made it as far as she did in life. It was so unbearably obvious that Francis was after her money and she wouldn't listen to anyone about him. Oh and she fell in love with Ewan all of a sudden but still didn't think she wanted to marry him. She was just all over the place and I wanted to hit her.

The story was so predictable. I have read a lot of HRs.. I mean a lot.. so I understand that there are only so many ways to tell a story but this one was just cookie cutter and I feel like I have read the same thing many times before. I have never read anything by this author and I have honestly never heard of her but this wasn't the greatest book. The characters were weak and the story was boring. I still may give her another shot. Depends on what else comes up.
